Dr. Megan Johnson McCullough believes Every Body Can Be Fit.

Megan doesn’t have her own alcohol recovery story but she shares about her mom’s struggle and how losing her mom to AUD fueled her own passion to work with those who suffer from addiction.

Her love of fitness has led her to create a fitness and recovery app, write 6 books and win back to back championships as a Natural Fitness Model.

This conversation touches on eating disorders, perfectionism and exercise addiction. While Megan admits she doesn’t have it all figured out, she is committed to researching and developing more offers to highlight how exercise and nutrition can be a healthy part of overcoming any addiction.

Dr. Megan Johnson McCullough, EdD, owner of Every BODY’s Fit in Oceanside, CA, is an elite NASM Master Trainer. She’s a world champion natural bodybuilder, fitness model, and author of 6 book . She has a cell phone app called Fit PACE for persons in addiction recovery using fitness in their program. She holds an MA in Physical Education and Health Science and is certified from the National Academy of Sports Medicine and the National Exercise & Sports Trainers Association. She’s a certified Group Exercise Instructor by the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America (Aqua, Cycle, Yoga, and Zumba). She is a Corrective Exercise Specialist, Drug & Alcohol Recovery Fitness Specialist, Fitness Nutrition Specialist, Senior Fitness Specialist, Wellness Coach and Lifestyle and Weight Management Specialist.
