Episode 10 Aimee Ames: A midlife awakening

Aimee Ames is a certified functional nutritionist and Intuitive Body Life Coach, which enables her to support women in the entirety of their wellness journey. She is the founder of Evolve Nutrition and Wellness, and in addition to one-on-one coaching she has developed a life-changing small group program, BeWhole BeYou, that supports women wherever they are on their journey through midlife.

After healing her own health imbalances through nutrition and lifestyle shifts, a whole new world of wellness opened up to her.  She began focusing on her inner world, with mindfulness, meditation, time in nature, and connecting with other spirit-minded women. Aimee has found that living intimately with her life and the people in it, which includes living alcohol free, has brought her more joy and fulfillment than she ever imagined possible.

In today’s episode, Teri interviews her friend and fellow FNTP, Aimee Ames. Aimee opens up about her wellness journey and how becoming alcohol-free was a key part of discovering joy. If you have ever wondered what will happen to your relationships, Aimee talks in depth about the power of connection and what friendship means now. This rich conversation includes Aimee’s story about drinking and not drinking during Covid, her work with midlife women and the role alcohol plays, and the beauty and courage of breaking generational trauma. Enjoy!
