Episode 35: Raising Your Vibration with Eliza Desch

What happens when you show up to life without alcohol? Eliza Desch shares her transformation from surviving to thriving on the Path and beyond! Eliza and I talked about her decision to take a break from drinking, which led her to join This Naked Mind’s Path program, where we met in December 2020.

Eliza showed up two months Alcohol-Free and spent a year honing her alcohol-free muscles, creating new experiences and fostering deep connections with other newly sober friends.  Along the way Eliza rediscovered her joy of living and learned to prioritize her own well-being. In addition to living AF, Eliza shares her health journey that ultimately led to her losing 40+ pounds! She has also become a fierce advocate of the NA (non-alcoholic) beverage industry and has watched her confidence and business soar.

Eliza Desch is a professional freelance hair and makeup artist based in the San Francisco Bay Area.  She beautifies brides, models, executives, celebrities and regular people for weddings and events, photo and video shoots, corporate events, and the red carpet.  Prior to pursuing her passion for beauty, she graduated from the University of Oregon and worked in advertising, public relations and business development for companies including Nordstrom and AOL.

When she’s not busy working, she loves hiking and biking outdoors, singing, listening to podcasts, and spending time with her family and pets.  Her insatiable curiosity is always leading her down one rabbit hole or another!  Current obsessions include zero proof spirits, intermittent fasting, and ADHD.  Connect with Eliza via her website www.elizadesch.com or on social media at @elizadesch and @elizadesch_makeuphair.
