Alcohol Isn’t the Answer…But I Still Have Questions

Alcohol’s gone. But you’re still curious? Good.

I don’t know about you, but when I first stepped into the alcohol-free space, I expected a lot of things: more energy, better sleep, deeper self-trust.

And yes — those things came. But so did something I didn’t expect:
a flood of questions.

Questions that were waiting quietly behind the buzz and the numbing.

Questions like:

  • What does real fun feel like when I’m fully present?
  • Why do I get anxious in silence — and what is that silence trying to tell me?
  • How do I celebrate without defaulting to a drink?
  • Who am I becoming, now that alcohol isn’t writing the script?

I’ve come to believe these questions aren’t a problem.
They’re actually a portal. A portal to self-discovery, creativity, deeper relationships — and, honestly, a more honest life.

In this week’s podcast episode, I’m diving into this very real, very human truth:

Alcohol was never the answer. But the moment we remove it… we finally get the chance to start asking better questions.

In this solo episode, I’m sharing:

  • Why life after alcohol can feel both clearer and more complicated
  •  How alcohol kept me in a safe (but small) comfort zone
  •  What I’ve learned about growth that only comes through discomfort
  •  A simple way to shift from “fix-it” thinking to powerful self-curiosity
  •  A list of the real questions I asked once the wine wasn’t answering anymore

Here’s something I know for sure:
If you’ve removed alcohol and still find yourself thinking, “Now what?” — you’re not lost. You’re just waking up.
