Episode 14: ‘Alcohol is a Liar, a Thief and an A–hole’ with Will

Have you ever wondered if alcohol is getting in the way of your creativity? Today I talk with Will, a Creative Director, Graphic Designer, and serial entrepreneur who has launched three creative design studios during his 20+ year career.

Even though Will had a successful career, he shares that letting go of alcohol sparked a creative energy and exponential learning that made him feel superhuman! He has also reignited his love for learning, discovered Pickleball and the power of play.

Will shares a breakthrough moment when he wrote a post titled “Alcohol is a Liar, a Thief and an A–hole.” Will broke free from alcohol the night of June 1, 2020 when he finished his last drink. His life has never been quite the same, and each day presents him with another hidden gift that reminds him how lucky he is.

Will grew up in Boulder, Colorado before moving to the San Francisco Bay Area  where he now lives with his wife and two children.

Prior to moving to the Bay Area, Will studied at Brown University and RISD where he designed his own major on the creative process. He is an avid traveler having studied in France and Madagascar and visited 17 countries.
