Turning the Ordinary into the Extraordinary with Sam Goldfinch

Practical spirituality. Innate health. The journey from numbing and escaping life to becoming present offers insight into how we live our lives. My guest today, Sam Goldfinch has been on this journey for many years. In this episode he shares wisdom gathered from his own spiritual journey and the teaching of several of his spiritual mentors. We talk about the difference between pleasure and joy; the distinction between desire and craving and my personal favorite, how to let go of ‘seeking’ and embrace ‘finding’. This is a deep conversation with someone whose knowledge is vast and whose heart is even bigger! I consider this entire conversation a gift from Sam to me and to you; I hope you enjoy it!

Sam Goldfinch is a sobriety coach who helps people to release addictions and discover their innate health, without using willpower or missing out on life. Having left a damaging relationship with alcohol behind 7 years ago, Sam understands it is insight, not ‘information’, that will lead people home to the truth of who they really are and to true freedom.

Sam works closely with ‘This Naked Mind’ in their mission to help people take their power back from alcohol and is passionate about doing his part in shifting the stigma around addiction in society. He is co-host of the ‘Present and Sober’ podcast which is a top 2% podcast globally and owner of ‘Sober Rebellion’, his personal coaching business which continues to help people redefine what it means to be sober and lean into what is an empowering and subversive life choice.
